Session 1: The Hook Dribble

Indoor Hockey may not have been around as long as Field Hockey, developed in Germany during the 1950s, but since its conception it has grown in popularity around the world - particularly as a result of the fast, highly-skilled and physical nature of the game, as well as the convenience of having an indoor variation (for when it's too hot or too cold outside to play).

What's in this taster session?

To get your players sending their opposition the wrong way, with a skillful dribble and clever use of the boards this Indoor session (taken from our Indoor Hockey Training Program) works on your players' hook dribbling skills, switching the ball from the left side to right, with and without the boards.
