A simple 2v1 for juniors. 2 Attackers start at yellow cone, and must stay within the box, only shooting after the last cones. Have 3 defenders taking turns. They should start at the back of the box but can move forward once play starts. If they get the ball, they should try and pass it to one of the defenders on the left or right who are waiting. Progression: 12 or 15 second time limit - players waiting in line can countdown.
- If defender doesn't pressure, keep dribbling. When defender pressures, don't pass too late. - Young players will tend to stick to their side of the box. Try and get the player without the ball to run behind the defender and across, for a pass down the sideline.
