Community | Defending a deep ball and slowing down the attack.

Robert Noall Coach, Netherlands

DESCRIPTION

Here someone will give a hard hardball to a deep forward leading for the ball. The defender will try to come in front and intercept the ball if possible. IF this is not possible they should really focus on slowing down the attacker, keeping stick pressure while tracking with them, using their body position to make it hard to the player to run towards the circle without any problems.
