We will be in a 3:4:3:1 formation: 3- forwards 4- midfielders 3- backs 1- goalie
Laura/Collete: You guys are my wings, it is important that you stay wide so that you can avoid drawing extra defense to middle of field. Wide side is always our strong side. Nikki/Lissy: You all are in my interior; you are what I would like to call my "bullies" when you get possesion of the ball think wide, there are wings out wide to help you. Forwards: Remember to push up when the either the wings or the interior begin dribbling the ball up field. Create space so that you can receive a pass. Backs: I would like to have one of you onthe 25 and the other 2 on the hash; on on each side of the goal. Remember to keep your stick down, and when clearing the ball out of the circle try not to cross the goal. GO WIDE!! Remember on free hits you are able to self pass, so if the other team is giving you lots of space don't be afraid to dribble then hit or pass to a teammate. Abby: Remember to stay in your ready stance, and to clear to the side and wide. Try to avoid clearing the ball up the middle.
