1st phase: Blue Attack Red Defend 5v3 in the attacking left hand channel towards the half way. Ball starts with the player circled on the 5m mark and they attack player goal on the half way with a 2 player overload. All the attacking players then go through the blue gate and one player collects a ball from next to the blue gate. They then play 5 against 4 towards the main goal. Defensive: 1st phase: defenders have 2 players less so focus is on slowing play as much as possible and trying to isolate the ball carrier. 2nd phase: close down the ball early pressure the attack early force the play wide away from goal. Attacking getting players ahead of the ball. high ball speed risk not playing unecessary balls making the most of the overload
