SetupSet up teeball bases and a mini goal or gate behind the batter's position. Game Follows the rules of teeball (junior baseball), adapted as follows: Pitcher tries to score in the goal. Batter tries to block the shot. Batter blocks the ball and hits it out, then dribbles around bases. If pitcher scores or batter misses, batter hits out a spare ball from side of goal, then dribbles around bases with another spare ball. Runners are run out if: any of the batted ball[s] are passed to the base they are running to, or touch the runner's feet, stick or ball. Switch team roles after all players on batting team have batted Kids dribble around bases rather than just running. Variations Batter hits [3] balls out before dribbling Batters throw tennis balls out, but still dribble around using a stick If players can't hit very far, make the pitch smaller or use tennis balls.
