DESCRIPTION

Players get into pairs and stand opposite each other with an upside down cone between them. They assume a power position stance - knees bent, core firm, hands ready, weight on toes, eyes up. On the coahes command, the players move their hands to whatever is called out, e.g. head, shoulders, hips, toes, knees, nose. NB! Both hands move to the point called. On the "CONE" command, both players need to react quickly and try grab the cone first. The player to get their cone first wins a point. If both players grab the cone at the same time, half a point is awarded to each.

COACHING POINTS

This is a good warm up to all types of sport as speed and reactions are key. The power stance position is also important. A player must be well balanced and not easily moved or pushed over.
