Dribble in D. When student reaches set of cones they should perform a skill i.e spin, lift, v drag ect. When whistle blows students are to control ball, stop and wait for command from coach. When command complete they go back to dribbling Commands: 10x squats 5x lunges each leg 4x open and close gates each leg 10 seconds high knees 10 seconds heel flicks Progression: Add in a change of pace with two whistle blows
stick on ball look up squat: Knees bent in line with toes, straight back, stick held out in front of body Lunge: Knees bent in line with toes, straight back, stick held out in front of body, back knee inch off floor, Open and close gates: 90 degree bent knee out and in High knees: on balls of feet, quick movements, knees high ( hold stick out in front and try and reach stick height) Heel flicks: balls of feet, heels to bum, toes pointed
