One on one tackle drill
1. Blue player passes ball to red player and both run towards other cone. 2. Blue player must track red player across using good footwork to get leading or outside foot up close and in the centreline of red player to make the tackle. 3. Make sure eyes and head is up. Hands up with elbows in, trying to create a strong core. 4. Dip late by bending knees not back to ensure lower legs are at same angle as spine for optimal power. 5. Make solid contact with outside shoulder driving up and through with legs and finish on top of attacker.
