Groups of 6 (size the groups for best fit for total number of players) 5 link arms to form a circle. 1 of the players wears a bib, this will be the player that the ctacher will have to touch with the rugby ball. The circle of players have to protect the bibbed player by rotating left or right to keep them away from the catcher.
Give instruction and then just let the players do the activity. Are they successful? If so - why? If not - why? Focus points are: communication heads up, where is the catcher, move the bibbed player away from them into SPACE.
