DESCRIPTION

Starting position

  • 3ft to 4ft from the wall
  • feet hip distance apart with knees bent
  • both hands behind and slightly to the side of the ball

  • Movement
  • push through the ball and follow through towards the wall
  • flick the wrist at end of follow through
  • keep arms out to control the return ball
  • relax the arms as the ball comes back to keep the control
  • COACHING POINTS

  • increase the speed of the follow through which will increase the strength of the pass
  • flick the wrists to add that extra strength to the pass
  • keep knees relaxed so not putting pressure on the lower back
