DESCRIPTION

  • Player keeps weight in one hand.
  • Player performs diagonal move from low to high maintaining solid control over the working arm and the shoulder.

 

COACHING POINTS

  • In this drill the player strengthens muscles in the working arm.
  • This is also a great drill for preventing shoulder injuries that happen really often while playing at more advanced level.
  • Player should perform 1 or 2 sets of 10-12 reps with small weight before the practice to see positive results in the long term.
