Depth: hit the ball deep when rallying, attacking and defending

Use this plan to work on your players' deep shots - it's packed full of original exercises to get your players striking the ball with depth and power.

By playing consistently with depth your players will be able to keep their opponent on the back foot - allowing your players to stay in the point for longer and forcing their opponents to hit 1 or 2 extra shots per point.

Michael Chang"Depth is King" were the famous words said by Michael Chang, the former US professional who was the youngest ever player to win a Grand Slam title, winning the French Open in 1989 at the tender age of 17.

How should my players be hitting the ball?

Your players should be looking to be hitting the ball at roughly twice the height of the net - as long as they strike it with a bit of topspin it should drop comfortably inside your opponents side of the court!

Use this session to get your players hitting with depth today!
