Rugby: Wide Attack

Your tips and session ideas have really brought some interest back...
Eifion, Rugby Coach

DESCRIPTION

  • Start with the left most attacking unit taking on the 2 defenders in front of them. When they get past, they pass the ball to the link, who then passes to the opposite attacking unit, who then take on the first 2 defenders. When they get past, they pass the ball out to the link, who passes the ball to the opposite attacking unit, who should now be ready to take on the next two defenders.
  • And so the exercise continues up the pitch.
  • Don't forget to change the attackers and defenders after each completed run up the pitch.
  • The attack should finish by scoring a try!
