Through Pass Movement off the ...

A line of attacking players stand outside the 23 metre line with a ball each, with one other attacking on the goal side of the grid. Inside the grid there is one defender. The first attacking player has to try and play the ball to the player in the circle through the area with the defender. On playing a successful pass the player then follows their pass through the area, into the circle and the next player can try and pass the next ball through the area.

3 vs 1 - Two Grids Scoring on ...

Set out 2 grids that are attached by a common line with 3 attackers and 1 defender in each. 3 Players, with one ball, in one grid keep possession of the ball and try to pass the ball to the other three players in the other grid. Once they have done this the other three players must also try to keep possession in order to once again pass the ball back into the other grid.

Divide a 23m area into 6 equal grids with one player from both teams in each grid with a keeper in each goal. Players are only allowed to play in their allocated grid. Players play a 7v7 game with the following rule: When a player is in possession they are not allowed to run with the ball - they can only pivot on the spot while looking for a pass. Players have to move into space to create options for a team-mate on the ball so they can look to receive the ball. The team in possession can pass to each other (grid to grid) to try and score a goal.

Playere lined up in a relay with 1 ball. Player starts by running with the ball into the grid and pass the ball to the player opposite. Player 2 has to run onto the moving ball collect and keep moving to pass the ball back to the other side .for player 3 to run onto the ball. Each player has to run to the back of the opposite side each time they have passed the ball.

Set up a square grid 5x5m with one player in the middle and 3 players on the outside and one player passing the ball into the player in the centre of the grid. Players on the outside cannot intercept the ball coming into the grid they can only try to stop the player in the middle coming out of the grid. The players on the outside of the grid can only enter the grid once the player has received the ball.

Two lines of players with 1 ball per grid. Player 1 passes the ball to player 2 who runs to the opposite cone. Player 3 makes their intercepting run as the player makes their pass, trying to intercept the ball before it reaches player its intended recipient. If they successfully intercept the ball they make a pass to player 4. Exercise start again. Player 1 runs straight to receive the ball from player 4 and player 2 has to try and intercept the ball and pass the ball to player 5.

The white players make a pass to one of the static players but are not allowed to receive the ball from the same player so they must move around the grid to find a new ball. Create 2 end zones either side of a line. 2 players are in each end zone and 2 defenders on the line. The players in the end zones can pass the ball to each other laterally but the aim is to try and pass the ball from one end zone to the other, without the ball being intercepted by the defenders who can only defend on the line. See how many passes the teams can score against the defenders. When the defenders have intercepted the ball 3 times the players who played the last pass change over and become the defenders.

In the grid play a 5 vs 5 or 4 vs 4 possession hockey game. There a two jokers stood at either end of the area. These two players may receive the ball from either team and are stood in the scoring zone. The aim is to play possession hockey and use the two Jokers. Everytime the team in possession passes the ball to a joker and receives a pass back they score a point. The first team to score 5 consecutive points is the winner.

The players must start shown in the picture, standing on alternate cones. The practice becomes live as soon as the first pass is played by the player with the ball on the half way line. 1 has to play the ball to player 2 as the first pass, after this any pass is allowed. The attack has to take place within the channel of cones.

Now the 2 player can play a 2 v 1 and try to score a goal.
