Hi,I'm a teacher as Packwood School, a prep school in Shropshire.In the Autumn term I coach hockey; Spring term, netball and in the Summer term, cricket.I want to subscribe all year round but only for the relevant sports. My daughter is in 8th grade and has made the team this year as she did last. We have a new coach this year who doesn't allow the girls to use their knee pads. What is the purpose of this? Does it help at all with development of the sport? It seems sadistic to me and I can't understand how causing the girls pain will help them to "dig" a ball or encourage them to dive for anything. I'd love to see what people out there plan for practices. Anyone else interested? Not sure where the best place would be to post stuff like that. I have a bunch of drills I sketched and made public, but no way to do the same with practice plans.Here is a two-part practice where I plan to perform evaluations of my team over the first two days of full practice. What a fantastic tool. The Chalkboard and session tools make an unbelievable difference in making training plans in both time and organization. I will be instructing all of my assistant coaches that this tool must be used for all sessions during the season, so that we may build a club coaching resource library.
