DESCRIPTION

Fielding drill with running - used for fatigue and pre-season. 1- Hit ball to blue cone - fielder then throws at stump 2- Back up on white cone then throw over stumps where red cone runs in to receive it 3- Red cone receives ball over stumps and throws to hitter (bat) 4- Hitter or feeder then hits flat catch towards green cone 5- Green cone takes the catch and runs around to the start 6- Players move to the next cone after they have done each skill

COACHING POINTS

Attack the ball on the ground Pick up ball between feet on all occasions Communicate, especially when getting tired
