Blue players are passing the ball around the area in a clockwise direction with the aim of trying to pass to the green player in the centre.
The two red defenders must work as a team to share the defending responsibilities to successfully close down the blue players every time they receive a pass.
Defenders should communicate. e.g. 'mine' or 'I've got'
Defending pivot:
One hand in the back of pivot, other hand between the hands of the pivot.
Progression:
Allow the outside players to pass the ball in any direction they want (clockwise or anti-clockwise).
