Towards the end of the season, as fatigue sets in, players can be more prone to making simple mistakes. To help you keep these mistakes at bay this session recaps passing and support.
What's in the Session?
To ensure your players stay focused this session includes fun exercises that encourage creativity under match-pressure to keep morale high.
We begin with a wide pitch game of touch to encourage your players to look for space behind and then look to develop the skill, with two drills including the the Avoid the Shields game (this is a fun game that can become very competitive).
To bring things to a close we play a game that eliminates positions and encourages all players to practice and fine tune their core skills.
Additional Session Notes:
This session has progressions for you more able players and conditions to develop your less able players.
Create a resolution to develop your coaching confidence by seizing the opportunity to discover new drills, turn ideas into action and seek advice from the coaching community.
