1-2 Feint and Shoot

Players take it in turns to make a run to their cone, just outside the 9 meter line. Once they reach the cone players must feint moving inside before cutting outside to receive the pass just outside the 6 meter line from the feeder. After receiving the pass players must shoot at goal.

2 v 1 - Fast Break

Players stand in four lines along the half way line. A player on both side starts with the ball in hand. The attackers play give-and-go as they progress up the court and pass around the defender. The move finished with attacker 1 (the player who started with the ball) throwing at the goal.

Cut, Feint and Dodge

Players line up on the sideline with a ball each and take it in turns to run across the court. As they approach each cone players should pass to static players making a sharp move towards the static players, feinting movement in that direction, before cutting back out to receive the pass in space. Players all perform three cuts before they reach the other side of the court - where they then dribble with the ball around the area to the back of the line.

Feinting under pressure

Players line up on both sides of the court with a ball in hand. They take it in turns to pass the ball to player 1 and then progress up the court. As they move down the court the defender picks up the runner and passively shadows their movement. The attacker must then move inwards before then sharply cutting outside to lose their marker, receive the ball from player 1 and make a shot on goal.

Running Center Shot : give and go

Players line up near the baseline, with a ball each and take it in turns to pass the ball the player outside the 9 meter line. After making the pass players must run around the cone before turning quickly to run onto the return pass. After receiving the pass players should shoot as quickly as possible on goal using the center shot. After shooting players collect their ball and join the back of the line.

warming-up : Give and Go snake run passing

The first player waiting in line passes to the first player on the cone and immediately follows their pass and runs behind that player to receive the return pass. Once they have the ball in hand again they pass the ball to the next player and drive behind them to loop in front of them and receive the ball again. Once the player reaches the end of the course they dribble the ball to the corner and then sprint around the court back to the end of the line with the ball in hand.

Blue 1 feeds the ball in front of blue 2 who then duels with their opposite number before passing the ball across the pitch to the next attacking player. The final player lays the ball off to the lone player, once all the balls are with this player the drill restarts in the opposite direction.

Three players line up across the width of the pitch, these players are the return passers. When they receive a pass they throw it immediately back to the player who passed to them. The remainder of the players have a ball each and start on the sideline. Their job is to run the width of the pitch, passing the ball to all the return passers, catching the return pass and then carrying on to the next player. When they reach the other side of the pitch they run around the cone and then dribble as fast as they can to the back of the queue.

The first player throws the ball to player two and then immediately sprints to follow their pass. Player 2 catches the ball and then turns and throws the player 3 before then also following their pass. This pattern continues until the player on the final cone receives the ball. At this point they dribble back to the start cone and the drills starts again.

Attacker 2 passes inside to player 1 in the middle. They then deliberately run towards the defender on their side of the court. They continue their run and use a fake to wrong-foot the defender, before pushing off their outside foot and driving off in the opposite direction - ready to receive the pass!

This should be performed without dribbling, with players using their 3 steps to receive the ball and in turn pass to the next player.
