OPTION A Player 1 will indicate by use of his arms which drill he wants to carry out. Player 1 plays a short 1-2 with Player 2 who will come short and play the ball back to Player 1. Player 1 then arcs a run around Player 2 to take a direct shot from the corner of the penalty box. Player 4 will hold his run on the edge of the box making himself available for the ball to be squared, or even time his run to get on the end of a cross attacking the back post. Player 5 will stay central and put pressure on the keeper and attacking any ball that comes into his area. INDICATION: Player 1 (Corner Taker) will indicate that he will be taking this corner by raising both his Left Arm Twice. This will let his team mates know what intends to do. Coaches to help the players understand their roles and how the drill works. Make sure that the players are focused and are making their own decisions and adapting to what is going on around them. Ask the players individually at random what they have been tasked to do and if they understand the role. If the move fails can they adapt and find a solution to the problem. Coaches are to be vocal in the drill initially to get them carrying out the drill in a quick manner. When the players start to understand the drill, withdraw yourself and let them carry it out themselves only intervening when you identify a mistake.
