DESCRIPTION

DRILL TYPE: Athletic Skills FOCUS: Agility SKILL LEVEL: Red/ Orange Ball EQUIPMENT: Cones (18) SETUP: Place the 18 cones, 6 cones on the singles sideline, 6 cones on the center service line and the other cones are on the opposite singles sideline. DRILL: Have the players find a cone and stand sideways to the cone. On the signal the players will jump back and forth over the cones. The players will jump sideways and then move to jump facing the cones Have the players jump over the cone, pause and jump back again, make sure the use proper body technique.

COACHING POINTS

Make sure they keep their knees bent and back straight. Make sure they don not rush.
