Team GB - Basketball Shooting Tests

In this Sportplan session we take a leaf out of British Basketball's book as we aim to test your players' shooting ability with a series of shooting practices - inspired by the recently released T16 Basketball Curriculum.

One of the key areas outlined for improvement in this document, which aims to help "GB teams of the future to play to a better standard", was shooting - with particular focus on:

  • Creating more time in training dedicated to shooting and regular testing
  • Developing a variety of finishing moves close to the basket and
  • using the Free throw to help develop shooting form

To help your side find out which of them are the sharp shooters and which of them could do with a little more practice try this shooting test session with your players today!
