Do you have a basic warm up routine for primary PE lessons?
Is there a way to help my under 8's team to pass and mark in a fun amp; enjoyable way?
My team has just moved up to youth football 11 aside. Our defence is solid and our forwards skillfull and quick but we seem unable to win the ball in midfield. Our midfielders watch what is happening hoping the opposition midfielder will mess up, rather than attacking the ball. Encouragement from the sidelines does not seem to help. Can you suggest some training drills.
where on the field can I play a slow player
Hi, I have taken on my first U11 football team and we are building a squad from scratch for all comers, we have picked up some good players with a few who have hardly ever kicked a ball. I have always promoted everyione is welcome but it seems some of the better players are now making comments that they wont stay if the lesser players continue! What do i do?
Team keep getting thrashed every week - where to start? Having been the sole coach/manager of a little league team for the past two years, this year I lost all my senior players. I was therefore presented with 10 brand new lads, some of whom have never played competitive football. We are 8 games in and my lads are getting thrashed every week. The main problems are that they cannot get the ball out of their half, positions are usually a mess, finishing and chance creation are non-existent, and they don't apply any pressure or are unable to tackle. The main problems are keeping the ball as a team, getting it in the opponents half and staying there, and creating/finishing chances. I only have 1 and a half hours a week with them. I don't really know what to do, and I'm a little desperate. Does anybody have any advice? Thanks for literally anything.

I have a very good passing girls football team with good ability but I'd like to encourage the over lap run and pass and also the one - two. Are there any drills for this. My team are under 16 girls. Thanks
What drills do you recommend I use to improve my team's ability to keep possession for longer?
I am currently coaching a disability team and I'm looking for new and inventive possession drills that the kids will enjoy and not get bored of quickly, any help on this would be fantastic!
I have just finished my first season coaching under 12's I coach them on Wednesday nights and the manager coaches on Fridays where I assist. When I came to the club at the tail end of last season, the subs were lucky if they got between 2-5 minutes on the pitch. My philosophy has always been to include every member of the team, especially with the role on role of rule. This seemed to work well this season, although one or two of the 'better' players didn't like coming off, but in the last game of the season, the manager had two subs, brought one on at half time and gave the other the last four minutes. ( We had a chance of finishing 4th in the league if results went for us, which they didn't and we ended up 5th) The subs that got 4 minutes was my son, which made it slightly harder for me to drive the point home that we needed to get him on.How do I encourage a philosophy where by everyone plays? because my son has said that if the team 'goes back to the old ways' he will not want to play anymore.
Hi I manage and coach two current u8 boys teams and as you can imagine training sessions with 16 boys can be slightly chaotic at times, I need some fresh ideas which will help me maintain control but that the boys can all participate in and enjoy please?Faye
How to make my play without getting tired so early and can play for long hours Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
I have a player who can throw the ball in to near post or center of the net on most fields. We have some of our better guys in the air push up and crash on these plays, but I don't feel that we are taking full advantage of this weapon, in terms of converting these opportunities into goals. Does anyone have any suggestions in terms of where to target throwing the ball or where to position people that has resulted in a high level of success with a long throw-in player on their team?
Hi has anyone got any advice on drills to help with the transition of 7v7 to 9v9 ? also what are your preferred formations please ? thanks

I am coaching two U12 boys groups. They have minimal training in the past, I have worked on dribbling and passing. Just starting 1 v 1s. I am training now in a gym, was wondering if any one had any drills that would work with approx. 15 kids?
Hi I have quite a large squad (11) for my U9s team. Sometimes not all of them turn up but when they do managing the substitutions can be a nightmare. Have tried planning it out and making 3 subs on a rotation every 6 or 7 minutes. This works OK, just wondered how others do it? Thanks! Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
After watching the Arsenal game at the weekend, it seemed very much apparent that the two quick goals for Arsenal effectively killed the game off, with Arsenal not really requiring to come out of second gear. I was wondering if anyone had any tips about how you can motivate a team's head not to drop, and attempt to fight back into a game from 2--0 after ~20 minutes?
